Use of Location Data in the "OOM Driver" App
To determine the current location of a vehicle while it is in delivery, to store parking positions, or to save delivery drop-off locations, location services use information from GPS networks (where available).In our “OOM Driver” app, you have the option of retrieving your current location and recording the route of your delivery. The use of location data (e.g., displaying your current position or centering the map) generally takes place on your mobile device. Only the functionality for archiving the current delivery route requires the transmission of location information to our server infrastructure.To ensure the most accurate recording of delivery routes, location data may also be collected and processed when the app is not actively in use or has been closed.Location services use precise positioning information to display your location, which may result in increased battery consumption.To use location services, you only need to grant permission when requested by the app; alternatively, you may enable location access through your mobile operating system settings. Granting permission allows the app to access your location information.You can revoke the app's access to your location at any time via the settings of your mobile device. The app can still be used without location data; however, location tracking and route recording features will be disabled.
