What actually happens during an engagement

To ensure transparency regarding your investment, here are the steps for each format, in the order they occur.

  1. Kick-off with leadership and IT: pin down goals and boundaries.
  2. Interviews with the people who run the processes day to day.
  3. As-is assessment of the system landscape, including shadow systems.
  4. Map process models and validate them with the business units.
  5. Action plan with effort, impact, and sequencing.

AI Consulting

  1. Inventory: which tools are already in use?
  2. Gather use cases and sort them by data readiness and impact.
  3. Check data quality – the most common reason pilot projects fail.
  4. Clarify governance: permissions, logging, EU AI Act.
  5. Pilot recommendation with an effort estimate and exit criteria.

What you should know about our consultation.

Every mandate ends with a closing presentation. If you tell us there, or within 14 days afterward, that the result doesn't help you, we refund the full fee. No justification required. The document we've produced stays with you – it wouldn't be fair to take away your working basis just because the result didn't meet your expectations.
No. The consulting formats are standalone services with their own deliverable. If the analysis shows that your existing system can keep going with some adjustments, that's exactly what the report will say. This happens regularly.
A digitalization consulting mandate takes four to ten weeks depending on scope, since interviews and alignment rounds take time. For AI consulting, the duration depends on how many use cases need to be reviewed. We fix the timeframe in writing beforehand.
The starting price covers a clearly scoped mandate with a defined number of workshops and a written deliverable. Anything beyond that – more locations, more departments, more interviews – is calculated and approved in advance. There's no additional billing without your consent.
