v4.0.0

AI

AI becomes a native part of fabular.: Prompts as objects, configurable agents for various models, chat history, and a new AI questionnaire type.

Überblick

Agents, Prompts & Chat History

fabular. opens up to the AI world: With v4.0.0, prompts can be created as independent, reusable objects within the system. Agents connect fabular. with external AI models like Azure and enable flexible, model-independent AI usage. A chat history stores past conversations directly within the system. Furthermore, there is a new "AI" questionnaire type, as well as the option to use AI-based decisions in workflows.

Added Value

AI integration in fabular. is not an add-on — it's a native component of the system. Companies already using AI in other tools can now apply the same intelligence directly where the data originates: in the ERP. Prompts as objects mean: configure once, use everywhere. Agents control which AI model is used for which prompt — whether Azure OpenAI, another model, or future systems. The chat history makes AI conversations traceable and retrievable. The new "AI" questionnaire type allows AI to automatically supplement or evaluate questionnaire responses. And through integration into workflows, AI decisions can become part of automated processes.

Application Area

The AI functions are available in the "AI" section or in the respective modules (Questionnaire, ActivityFlow). To create an agent, navigate to the AI master data and create a new entry there — the AgentID is required as a mandatory field. Prompts are managed as independent objects and can be linked to an agent. The new "AI" questionnaire type is available in the questionnaire configuration. The chat history is automatically saved per conversation. For initial setup, we recommend creating a rollout plan together with the fabular team.
