Questionnaires in the portal now also work without internet – the data syncs automatically as soon as you are back online.

Anyone who is out and about at farms and businesses – for audits or food inspections, for example – knows the problem: in the barn, in the cellar or in the field, reception is weak or non-existent. Until now, that meant taking notes on paper and typing them up later. With the new offline functionality, you fill in questionnaires in the portal directly on site, regardless of the connection.
All entries are stored locally on the device and are not lost. As soon as an internet connection is available again, the data is automatically synchronised with the server. Double entry is eliminated, media breaks disappear, and the results are in the system as soon as you are back online.
You activate offline mode in the portal via the settings in your user profile. You can then fill in questionnaires as usual, even without a connection.
All data that has not yet been synchronised with the server is collected in the queue. There you can see at a glance what is waiting for a connection, where conflicts need to be resolved, which drafts are still incomplete and what has already been synchronised successfully. As soon as you are back online, synchronisation runs automatically, or you trigger it directly in the queue.
