The scanner GUI now supports scale streaming directly in the Pocket Menu — including tolerance display, target weight transfer, and printing via Pericom.
For businesses in the food sector, production, and logistics that work daily with scales and scanners, these improvements mean greater efficiency and fewer errors. Scale streaming allows for live tracking of weights — with a visual bar display that shows whether the current weight is within the defined tolerance range. This prevents incorrect entries due to misread scale values. The Pericom printing function saves trips to the nearest stationary printing station. Users working with multiple scales can now directly select which scale is active via the GUI.
You activate scale streaming via the following UI configs in the Pocket Menu: pocketTransProgressMain_source_streamWeight and pocketTransProgressMain_source_weighing. You define tolerance values directly on the item. The Pericom printing function is available if the UI-C pocketTrans_include_pericom is active and the report has a printer assignment. Scale selection is accessible via the scanner configuration.
