Standalone contact page with full DMS functionality, partner-specific bank details, and price lists directly in the partner form.

Contact management was previously tightly integrated with the DMS. If you just wanted to quickly view or update a contact, you had to go through the entire DMS workflow. The new standalone contact page provides the same functionality—including document assignment and viewing—as a streamlined page accessible via SID directly within the partner module, complemented by an integrated search page and the addition of a timestamp next to the contact date. This makes it much easier for sales and customer service teams to access information quickly during daily operations. There are also significant changes to bank details. Previously, the appropriate bank account for an invoice was usually determined via regional logic, which did not always yield the desired result for partners with individual payment agreements. Now, you can store a client-side bank account directly on the partner record, which is prioritized during invoicing—complete with account currency and an optional description. For the sales team, a tedious workaround has also been eliminated: a new price list can now be created directly in the partner form instead of having to create it separately and then assign it. And because credit limits and credit lines are now displayed in a currency that can be configured consistently across the client, credit checks for partners with different home currencies are much easier to compare.
You can access the new contact page via a module parameter using the respective SID; a link to it can also be integrated into existing partner and contract screens. You can store partner-specific bank details in the partner form via the configuration in the ERP tab; it will then be automatically prioritized when determining the default bank account in the contract. You can activate the currency and description fields for bank details via the corresponding UI configurations in the partner master data. You can create a new price list directly via the button in the partner form once the configuration for it has been enabled. You control the display currency for credit limits and credit lines centrally via the corresponding UIObjects, regardless of the individual default currency of specific partners. For companies with many international partners, it is worth running a quick test of the new account currency display before rolling it out company-wide.
