Aschaffenburg/Vienna, August 6, 2026 – PASS Logistics Solutions (PLS) AG and the Austrian company fab4minds Informationstechnik GmbH are integrating route planning directly into the fabular ERP platform from fab4minds. Dispatchers can now plan and optimize their routes within their familiar working environment. Calculations and data exchange take place in the background without them ever having to leave the application.

Today, companies want to map their logistics processes as completely as possible within their existing software landscape. Separate planning solutions often lead to media discontinuities and complicate end-to-end workflows. The joint solution from PASS and fab4minds addresses exactly this point: route planning becomes an integral part of the ERP system and fits seamlessly into existing processes.

Integration directly into the ERP platform

With fabular, fab4minds offers an ERP solution for companies in sectors including food retail and delivery logistics. The technical foundation for the integration is provided by PASS MAPSERVICES. Using the "Embedded PASS MAPS" module, route planning is integrated directly into the ERP system's interface. Order and picking data are pulled from fabular, while route calculation and optimization take place in the PASS Cloud. The results are then immediately available back in the ERP system.

"Many of our customers manage their deliveries directly from the ERP system. That is why it was important for us to integrate route planning seamlessly into these workflows. This integration makes it possible to handle dispatching and route optimization without additional applications, thereby simplifying daily work," says Harald Falkner, CEO and Product Officer at fab4minds.

Platform for further geoinformation services

In addition to the embedded integration, PASS MAPSERVICES provide further geoinformation and optimization services via standardized REST interfaces. Companies can integrate these into their applications for tasks such as geocoding, routing, or other location-based functions. The service portfolio also includes the PASS Optimization Service (POS), which uses AI-supported methods for selected optimization tasks.

"With this embedded integration, we are going a step beyond classic interfaces," says Jan Junker, Board Member of PASS Logistics Solutions AG. "Software manufacturers can embed the planning interface directly into their applications while simultaneously accessing the geoinformation and optimization services of PASS MAPSERVICES. This allows specialized logistics functions to be integrated seamlessly into modern IT systems."

The solution has been in productive use at fab4minds since June 2026. With this project, PASS is expanding the application possibilities of PASS MAPSERVICES for software manufacturers who want to integrate planning and optimization functions directly into their applications.
