The new weighing screen closes an important functional gap compared to the old Faces interface: a dedicated silo cell search page is available again for goods receipt. In addition, the arrangement and accordion behavior of source and destination can be controlled via configuration, the questionnaire table now shows units directly in the input field, and the overall appearance has been revised - including an action-dependent background color.
Having to select silo cells exclusively via dropdown fields was previously a noticeable step backward in the new weighing screen compared to the old Faces interface, especially for companies with very many silo cells. The new search page brings this clarity back: users at goods receipt can now select silo cells again via a searchable table instead of a long dropdown list, which noticeably saves nerves especially under time pressure during delivery. The underlying new JSON search page implementation is also built so that it can be reused for further search pages elsewhere in the system in the future. The configurable arrangement of source and destination as well as the adjusted accordion behavior result in a tidier screen that is more closely aligned with the actual workflow at the weighing terminal. The questionnaire table has also been revised with a new design: units now appear directly in the input field, which reduces incorrect entries. And the action-dependent background color helps staff at the terminal recognize at a glance which action is currently running, without having to read the on-screen text.
The silo cell search page is automatically available as soon as a silo cell field is displayed in the weighing screen; clicking on the field opens the new search table instead of the previous dropdown list. You adjust the arrangement of source and destination as well as the accordion behavior via the new UIConfig settings in the weighing screen area; the default values are already based on the most common workflows. The unit display in the questionnaire table is globally active and requires no separate configuration. You configure the action-dependent background color analogously to the previous setting in the legacy system, via the corresponding color values per action. Companies with very many silo cells are advised to briefly test the new search page directly at the terminal in order to optimally adapt the filter criteria to their own storage structure.
